2018 Mock draft Version 4

by Qmark90

Picks based off of my opinion as if i was a gm

1. Browns: Josh Allen QB Wyoming

Watching the senior bowl wasn't to impressed with him the first half but once the second half started he was very impressive my opinion has changed on Allen and wouldn't be surprised if he gets picked by cleveland

2. Giants: Saquon Barkley RB Penn State

I don't believe the giants are ready to move on from Eli yet so why not get him someone who can help take pressure off of him like Barkley

3. Colts: Minkah Fitzpatrick S Alabama

Colts really need help in their secondary taking Fitzpatrick would be a no brainer you can plug him anywhere and he'll be a major threat to any offense throwing his way

4. Browns: Mike McGlinchey OT Notre Dame

Now they have their quarterback get him someone who can protect him Joe Thomas is a question mark so why not get his potential replacement

5. Broncos: Quenton Nelson OG Notre Dame

The broncos at the beginning of the year looked very nice then it all went down hill due to qb play and offensive line just not protecting well. I believe Elway is gonna be making some big decisions this offseason and will get a veteran qb and let some guys go and help rebuild the offensive line

6. Jets: Sam Darnold QB USC

Jets possibly get their quarterback of the future in Sam Darnold very good arm his decision making is highly questionable and he turnovers scare me a lot but if the Jets get him some weapons he will have a decent rookie year

7. Dolphins: Josh Rosen QB UCLA

TRADE: The Dolphins seeing that Rosen hasn't been selected yet is gonna make them get the green light to get him if Tannehill doesnt pan out then Rosen is the next best thing for them very smart and probably the most pro ready quarterback in the draft

8. Bears: Denzel Ward CB Ohio State

Kyle Fuller had a decent season so why not get him so help and get a hard hitting corner from Ohio State who has been producing so many DB's in the draft in the past couple of years Ward is very good cover corner and isn't afraid to tackle

9. Raiders: Roquan Smith OLB Georgia

The best tackler in the draft very smart, fast, physical linebacker who can come into this Raider defense and be a leader along with Mack and help reshape the Raiders into a winner with the help of Gruden coming back

10. 49ers: Calvin Ridley WR Alabama

Jimmy G officially being their qb of the future you need to give him some weapons and Ridley is a nice addition for him. Fast and elusive and has great hands and can come up with the big play when you need him

11. Buccaneers: Orlando Brown OT Oklahoma

O-line for tampa was terrible last year especially trying to protect winston. Brown is a very good pass protector and even better and run blocking very good pick up for Tampa Bay

12. Bengals: Connor Williams OT Texas

Another team with terrible O-line performance Williams will be an immediate starter for the Bengals plugging him in at Left Tackle will help keep Dalton from being on his back next season

13. Redskins: Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma

I'll be shocked if Kirk Cousins doesnt leave in free agency. I see him going to the Broncos or Jacksonville if that happens then Jay gruden needs a quarterback with a good arm and great leadership qualities and Baker Mayfield is his guy and possibly the future for any franchise that drafts him

14. Packers: Joshua Jackson CB Iowa

Green Bay stills needs help in the secondary. Jackson has ball hawk skills and is very athletic he can be an immediate starter for the Packers

15. Cardinals: Mason Rudolph QB Oklahoma State

Even though he didn't play in the Senior Bowl he still has a lot of upside to his game. He has a very strong arm and is very accurate with the deep ball. I see him being drafted on day one if not he'll be a very early 2nd round pick

16. Ravens: James Washington WR Oklahoma State

Flacco needs another target to throw to. Maclin really hasn't been paying out and neither has perriman so why not upgrade with Washington who is explosive in short gain receiving and also long deep threat to go along with Mike Wallace

17. Chargers: Da'Ron Payne DT Alabama

Adding Payne will help out the defense a lot. He is both dangerous in pass rushing and stopping the run. The chargers defense can be very good next year once they upgrade the D-line

18. Seahawks: Martinas Rankin OT Mississippi State

Plain and simple just protect Russell Wilson and they will win more games. Wilson was running for his life last season because of his offensive line. Rankin can plug into either left tackle or either guard he'll be a big improvement for them

19. Cowboys: Bradley Chubb DE NC State

Why not get one of the best defensive linemen in the draft. Demarcus Lawrence had a breakout year leading the league in sacks so he's gonna want some more money. If they cowboys don't wanna pay him then they'll get Chubb

20. Lions: Marquise Copeland DE Cincinnati

Marcus Davenport UTSA: Watching him in the Senior Bowl made me realize that this guy is gonna be a steal in the draft i see him going in the first round very good pass rusher and the Lions taking him at 20 will be a great pick

21. Bills: Maurice Hurst DT Michigan

Bills find their replacement for Darreus. Very strong physical linemen who will complement well with their defensive line

22. Bills: Courtland Sutton WR Southern Methodist

Stil don't know whether they'll keep Taylor or not but why not give him a big explosive weapon in Courtland Sutton

23. Rams: Harold Landry DE Boston College

Rams could use another pass rusher to help out Robert Quinn. Landry is a very good pass rusher to help them out next season

24. Panthers: Ronnie Harrison S Alabama

Panthers secondary needs some help. Ronnie Harrison can really help them in tackling out in space and is very physical.

25. Titans: Arden Key DE LSU

Titans need a pass rusher. Key has show glimpses of how athletic he is his combine will really determine if he is a worth a first round pick

26. Falcons: Vita Vea DT Washington

Vita Vea is a very athletic defensive linemen for his size. He can be an immediate plug in player for Dan Quinns defense

27. Saints: Rashaan Evans ILB Alabama

Saints defense was very good last year but what was lacking was the linebackers in my opinion. Manti Teo was decent but adding Evans will be a major improvement. Evans can be the leader that this team needs on defense along with Cameron Jordan

28. Steelers: DeShon Elliott S Texas

I believe they will let Mike Mitchell walk he wasn't that good he's mostly a role player and he didn't do anything in the playoff game against Jacksonville. So now the steelers look to go young and draft Elliott who is a very good safety who can fit this system very well

29. Jaguars: Mark Andrews TE Oklahoma

This team is gonna be dominant for the next couple of years. QB is questionable and receiver could be addressed but with this pick Andrews seems to be the answer since Lewis isn't getting any younger and they need another target for who will be the QB

30. Vikings: Malik Jefferson OLB Texas

Vikings will be a threat for Rodgers next year again and why not put more pressure on him with Malik Jefferson. Vikings linebacker core with the addition of Jefferson would be a scary matchup for the NFC North to handle

31. Eagles: Derrius Guice RB LSU

With Blount only a one year deal and no one knows if he'll be back so why not get another bell cow like him in Guice. Jay Ajayi will be the main feature back of course and when they need a first down they'll have Guice to help them out

32. Patriots: Sam Hubbard DE Ohio State

This is a perfect belichick player he reminds me a little of Chris Long very physical pass rusher and will fit right into the patriots defensive scheme
