New Mock v3

Changes made but still quarterback needy teams

1. Browns: Mason Rudolph QB Oklahoma State

The Browns are going to be looking for a quarterback. With a new OC in Cleveland changes the game. Mason Rudolph can possible be the first quarterback taken. For throwing over 4,900 yards in 2017 and winning the golden arm award can push Todd Haley's offense for the Browns.

2. Giants: Josh Rosen QB UCLA

The Giants have new management and that calls for a new quarterback. Manning is on the decline, so time to find their quarterback of the future. Josh Rosen has all the tools to push the Giants back to contenders.

3. Colts: Bradley Chubb DE NC State

A lot of people like Barkley here, But the Colts have no pass rush. Bradley Chubb is one of the top pass rushers in the draft and can help boost the Colts pass rush in a big way.

4. Browns: Mike McGlinchey OT Notre Dame

The Browns have their new quarterback. Now time to protect him. Joe Thomas is 33 this year and coming off a torn muscle. Coleman on the right side was just horrible. So, Thomas will soon be coming to the end of his hall of fame career and Coleman can not get it done at all. McGlinchey can play either left or right tackle and has everything you want in an offensive tackle. Upgrade the right side Thomas plays left boost the line to protect you quarterback.

5. Broncos: Sam Darnold QB USC

The Broncos are trying to clear cap space to go after Kurt Cousins. But, the need of a young quarterback is there. Sam Darnold has the ability to go number one but with an off year he drops a little but not much. Broncos take Darnold.

6. Jets: Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma

The Jets will also try to make a play for Cousins. But, the also like the Broncos the need for a young quarterback is there. Mayfield threw for over 4,600 yards in 2017 and has the leadership abilities that teams look for. But, his size is the issue (6'1" 220 pounds). The Jets won't let that stop them from taking Mayfield with this pick.

7. Buccaneers: Saquon Barkley RB Penn State

Still not sold on Barkley. or even taking a running back this high. But the Buccaneers are in need of a running back badly. Barkley is the top back in the draft and could boost the running game for the Buccaneers.

8. Bears: Courtland Sutton WR Southern Methodist

The Bears have a young quarterback. Now time to get him some weapons. It would be Ridley or Sutton here. I am going with Sutton here has the size and ability to be a great target in the pros. Also the Bears need a big target in the red zone and at 6'4" and 220 pounds Sutton can be that guy.

9. Raiders: Roquan Smith OLB Georgia

The Raiders are having some problems on the defensive side of the ball. Linebacker seems to be that area of need. Roquan Smith has the ability to play outside or inside at the linebacker position and has the leadership skills to put the Raiders defense on the right path.

10. 49ers: Quenton Nelson OG Notre Dame

The 49ers put up big money for their new quarterback. With all that money protection is a smart move. Quenton Nelson is a monster at the guard position. With all the abilities that teams look for in lineman. With their quarterback making a 137.5 million dollar contract that is an investment that need to protect.

11. Dolphins: Minkah Fitzpatrick CB Alabama

The Dolphins have some issues at the second and third levels of their defense. Fitzpatrick is just too good to pass on here. Can play either Cornerback or Safety at a high level. Also has the size to take on tight ends and the speed to take on receivers. last but not least does not mind getting dirty in stopping the run. This would be a perfect fit for the Dolphins.

12. Bengals: Orlando Brown OT Oklahoma

The Bengals had a hard time protecting Andy Dalton. Time to upgrade the offensive line. Orlando Brown is a mauler of a tackle and underrated footwork for his size. Nothing pretty about this pick just simple protect your quarterback.

13. Packers: Tremaine Edmunds OLB Virginia Tech

14. Redskins: Maurice Hurst DT Michigan

15. Cardinals: Lamar Jackson QB Louisville

16. Ravens: Calvin Ridley WR Alabama

17. Chargers: Connor Williams OT Texas

18. Seahawks: Billy Price OG Ohio St

19. Cowboys: Rashaan Evans OLB Alabama

20. Lions: Vita Vea DT Washington

21. Bills: Joshua Jackson CB Iowa

22. Bills: Derwin James S FSU

23. Rams: Kolton Miller OT UCLA

24. Panthers: Marcus Saugen OLB Eastern Washington

Pick (Marcus Davenport UTSA)

25. Titans: Brian O'Neill OT Pittsburgh

26. Falcons: Denzel Ward CB Ohio State

27. Saints: Harold Landry DE Boston College

28. Steelers: Josh Allen QB Wyoming

29. Jaguars: Arden Key DE LSU

30. Vikings: Martinas Rankin OT Mississippi State

31. Patriots: Sam Hubbard DE Ohio State

32. Eagles: Da'Ron Payne DT Alabama

1st draft ive seen where Rudolph goes 1

Over 4,900 yards golden arm award winner. 6'5" 230 pounds. Has the maturity and pocket presence that teams love in their quarterback. People think of Weeden from OK state but he is younger and far better. In my opinion Rudolph is the number one quarterback in the draft.
